The Township of Franklin has determined that performance of plumbing inspections by the Franklin Township Plumbing Inspector will be more efficient than contracting out for such services. It is in the best interest of the Township, therefore, to create the position of Plumbing Inspector.
The Franklin Township Plumbing Inspector shall:
A. 
Perform a review of all plumbing plans, both residential and commercial, and all plumbing, both residential and commercial, inspections for compliance;
B. 
Inspect all plumbing work in accordance with the State Uniform Construction Code Regulations; and
C. 
Carry out such inspections during the progress of work as are necessary to insure that work installed conforms to the approved plans and the requirements of the Uniform Construction Code.
