The Township of Franklin hereby adopts all benefits, rights and privileges
contained in the bingo licensing laws provided in N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq.
It shall be lawful to conduct such games of chance on any day of the
week, provided that the license issued by the Township so provides.

A.Â
A licensing fee shall be assessed to all applicants for
bingo and/or raffle licenses, as well as any and all other applicants relative
to games of chance licensing.
B.Â
The licensing fee shall be in an amount equal to the
amount charged by the Control Commission and as specified within N.J.A.C 13:47-1
et seq. In no event, however, shall the licensing fees so charged exceed those
charged by the Control Commission.
C.Â
All Franklin Township volunteer organizations shall be
exempt from the payment of the licensing fee.
D.Â
A copy of this section shall be forwarded to the Control
Commission upon adoption.
The penalty for a violation of the bingo license law shall be as provided
for by N.J.S.A. 5:8-41.
