There are hereby established within the Township of Lumberton the following rules, regulations and laws governing vehicles and traffic within the Township of Lumberton. This Part 2 shall be codified in the Code of the Township of Lumberton in a chapter entitled "Vehicles and Traffic."
Whenever any words and phrases are used in this
Part 2, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Subtitle 1 of
Title 39 of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated shall be deemed to apply
to such words and phrases used herein.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided
by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a
provision of this Part 2 or any supplement thereto shall be liable
to a penalty of not more than $50 for each offense or imprisonment
for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.
Whenever certain hours are named in this Part
2, they shall mean either Eastern standard time or Eastern daylight
saving time, as may be in current use in the Township.
