It shall be unlawful for any person to focus, point or shine a laser
beam directly or indirectly on a police officer or in the eyes of any other
person in the Town of Snow Hill.
Nothing in § 107-1 above shall apply to a law enforcement officer acting within the scope of his or her duties.
Any person violating this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and,
upon conviction, may be fined up to $500 and/or incarcerated up to 30 days
in the county jail for each offense, plus costs of prosecution.
