[Adopted 5-5-1986 as Title Four, Ch. XVIII of
the 1986 Code]
No person, firm or corporation shall conduct public dancing or music
or a carnival or circus in the City of Franklin unless a license therefor
shall first be obtained from the Chief of Police.
Said license shall be obtained for each public dance, musical performance,
carnival or circus to be held 72 hours prior to said dance or other event
and shall be issued upon the payment of $10 and whatever sums are necessary
for the payment of whatever police officers whose services are required in
accordance with RSA 105:9.
The permit fee of $10 can be waived for nonprofit, charitable and religious
associations or corporations.
Said license may be denied or revoked for cause by the Chief of Police
in the case of emergency affecting the lives, safety or welfare of the public.
