Town of Wolfeboro, NH Chapter 131 Skateboards and Roller Skis

§ 131-1 Prohibited areas.

No person shall ride or operate or allow or permit to be operated a skateboard, roller ski or other similar device upon the roadways within the Town of Wolfeboro as follows:

A. Upon any state highway; or

B. Any of the following streets: Lehner Street, Glendon Street, Union Street, Railroad Avenue, Central Avenue, Lake Street, Mill Street, School Street or Depot Street.

§ 131-2 Endangering self or others.

No person shall ride or operate a skateboard, roller ski or other similar device upon any public way or sidewalk in such a manner as to endanger the person or property of themselves or others.

§ 131-3 Violations and penalties.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation as defined by the Criminal Code of the State of New Hampshire, or shall allow his or her skateboard, roller ski or other similar device to be impounded by the Chief of Police or any other police officer for a period not to exceed 30 days, or both.
