It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully or maliciously torture, torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable or kill any dog or to interfere with or meddle with any such dog while such dog is being used by a law enforcement agency, while in the Township of Hamilton, in the performance of its duties.
Any person adjudged guilty of a violation of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 60 days, or both, at the discretion of the Municipal Judge of the Township of Hamilton.
