[Adopted 10-4-1940 (Ch. 67, Art. III of the 1984 Code)]
[Amended 12-15-1945]
The number of plenary retail consumption licenses outstanding in the Township of Independence at the same time shall not exceed three; provided, however, that this shall not prevent the renewal of such licenses outstanding upon the adoption of this amendment or the transfer of such licenses and the renewal of licenses so transferred. Nothing herein contained shall prevent the issuance of plenary retail consumption licenses in excess of the above quota to one bona fide hotel. Hotel premises for which plenary retail consumption licenses are issued pursuant to this exception shall continue to operate as a bona fide hotel, and for failure to do so, the license will be subject to revocation.
[Amended 12-10-1984 by Ord. No. 84-11]
No seasonal retail consumption or limited retail distribution license shall be granted in the Township of Independence.
