The Board of Health, as heretofore established, is hereby continued.
A. 
The Board of Health shall consist of seven members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council. The members shall be residents and legal voters of the Borough.
B. 
The Board of Health shall consist of seven members, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council. The members shall be residents of the Borough, except that one member may be a nonresident of the Borough.

C. 
If any vacancy occurs in the Board by the death, resignation or inability of any member to serve or from any other cause, the vacancy shall be filled in the same manner in which the original appointment was made, but for the unexpired term only.
The Board shall adopt rules and regulations for its own government and that of its officers and employees not inconsistent with law or the State Sanitary Code.
