The owner of any lot or parcel of land on which
a house or other building is located, and which is situate along the
line of any sanitary sewer, shall cause such house or other building,
if located within 200 feet of such sanitary sewer, to be connected
therewith within 30 days next after due service of notice, authorized
by the Township to make such connection.
The notice provided for in § 210-1 of this chapter may be served personally upon the owner of such lot or parcel of land or by leaving said notice at the usual place of abode of such owner with a member of his family above the age of 18 years.
The owner of any lot or parcel of land described in § 210-1 of this chapter, and upon whom notice shall be served as provided in § 210-2 hereof, who shall not comply with such notice within said period of 30 days next after due service shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than $500 per day for each day of delay, after the expiration of said period of 30 days, in which the provisions of such notice are not complied with.
