All private permanent outdoor swimming pools in existence or constructed
below the ground level shall be completely fenced in by a wire chain link
fence or a wooden fence. The minimum height of the fence shall be 48 inches.
A maximum of two inches of spacing between pickets or boards will be required
on a wooden-type structure. For currently existing in-ground outdoor swimming
pools, the fence referred to above must be constructed within 90 days of notification
from the Building Inspector.

The provisions of this chapter shall be enforced by local police, Massachusetts
Environmental Police and local officials appointed to enforce these regulations.
