The City Council of the City of Watertown hereby
establishes the Charter Commission of the City of Watertown, pursuant
to § 36 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New
York, with all of the powers and responsibilities imposed upon such
Charter Commission pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Home
Rule Law, for the purpose of reviewing the City Charter of the City
of Watertown, New York, and to propose whether a revised or new City
Charter for the City of Watertown, New York, is to be recommended
to the citizens of the City of Watertown.
Said Charter Commission shall consist of 15
members, who shall be appointed by the City Council of the City of
Watertown.
