The charge for installing or renewing any sewer
lateral running from the main sewer maintained by the City to the
street line shall be the actual cost based on the location of the
City sewer main as being in the center of the street or the right-of-way
and shall be paid by the owner of the property benefited, or the cost
thereof shall be borne by the property benefited thereby.
Upon application therefor, the Department will
clean or repair that portion of any sewer running from the house or
building serviced to the connecting street sewer maintained by the
City. The entire cost of such cleaning or repairing shall be borne
by the property benefited thereby, and application for such service
shall be made to the City Engineer and accompanied by a deposit in
an amount to be determined by the City Engineer.
