A.
Application. Any person proposing to erect or display
a sign shall file an application for a permit with the Sign Inspector
in the office of the Inspector of Buildings. The application shall
contain:
(1)
Information concerning the height, size, colors, lettering,
location of the sign and the date on which it is to be erected or
displayed.
(2)
A drawing or photograph of the building facade and
a plot plan indicating the location of the proposed sign and all existing
signs displayed on the zone lot.
(3)
Specifications for the construction of the sign and
for its illumination, if any is to be provided.
Permits shall terminate with respect to:
A.
Signs which advertise or call attention to any products
or services which are no longer sold on the premises or to any business
or activity which is no longer operated on said premises for at least
60 days, except if such business is seasonal in operation, 180 days
shall apply.
B.
Signs which have not been erected within six months
from the date the permit was issued.
C.
Existing signs, upon their alteration.
