Pursuant to Subdivision 1 of § 405.00 of the Penal Law of
the State of New York, the Chief of the Fire Department is hereby designated
the permit authority to grant and issue permits for the public display of
fireworks in accordance with the provisions of § 405.00 of the Penal
Law.
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be punished as provided in § 1-18 of this Code.
