Pursuant to the provisions of § 4-100 of the Election Law, and in order to provide convenient and adequate polling places for the voters of the City, the following described districts, set forth in the following sections, are ordained and fixed as the election districts of the several wards of the City of Watervliet.
A. 
The First Ward of the City of Watervliet shall be divided into three election districts, which shall be bounded and described as follows:
(1) 
The First Election District of the First Ward shall include all that part of the First Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point in the easterly boundary line of the City in the Hudson River where the same is intersected by the southerly boundary line of the City thence westerly along the southerly boundary line of the City to the intersection of the southerly boundary line of the City and the center line of Eighth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Eighth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Eighth Avenue and the center line of Second Street, thence easterly along the center line of Second Street to the point of the intersection of the center line of Second Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the point of the intersection of the center line of Third Avenue and the easterly United States Arsenal Wall, thence northerly along the easterly United States Arsenal Wall to the point of intersection of the easterly United States Arsenal Wall and the northerly United States Arsenal Wall, thence easterly to the easterly City boundary line as produced in the Hudson River, thence southerly along the easterly boundary line of the City as produced in the Hudson River to the point of beginning.
(2) 
The Second Election District of the First Ward shall include all that part of the First Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of Second Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence westerly along the center line of Second Street to the intersection of the center line of Second Street and the westerly boundary line of the City, thence northerly along the westerly boundary line of the City to the intersection of the westerly boundary line of the City and the center line of Sixth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Sixth Street to the intersection of the center line of Sixth Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the point of beginning.
(3) 
The Third Election District of the First Ward shall include all that part of the First Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point of the center line of Third Avenue and the center line of Sixth Street, thence westerly along the center line of Sixth Street to the intersection of the center line of Sixth Street and the westerly boundary line of the City, thence northerly along the westerly boundary line of the City to the intersection of the westerly City boundary line of the City south United States Arsenal Wall, thence easterly along said south United States Arsenal Wall to the point of the intersection of the South United States Arsenal Wall and the center line of Third Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the point of beginning.
B. 
The Second Ward of the City shall be divided into three election districts which shall be bounded and described as follows:
(1) 
The First Election District of the Second Ward shall include all that part of the Second Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point in the Hudson River in the line dividing the north side of the United States Government Arsenal and the Second Ward of the City as produced in the Hudson River where the same intersects the easterly boundary line of the City in the Hudson River, thence running southerly along said easterly United States Arsenal Wall to the point of the intersection of the easterly United States Arsenal Wall and the southerly United States Arsenal Wall, thence westerly along the South United States Arsenal Wall to the point of the intersection of the southerly United States Arsenal Wall and the northerly United States Arsenal Wall, thence easterly along the northerly United States Arsenal Wall to the point of the northerly United States Arsenal Wall and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Fourth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Fourth Avenue and the center line of Fifteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Fifteenth Street to the center line of Fifteenth Street as produced in the Hudson River and the easterly boundary line of the City, thence southerly along the easterly boundary line of the City as produced in the Hudson River to the point of beginning.
(2) 
The Second Election District of the Second Ward shall include all that part of the Second Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point in the easterly boundary line of the City at the intersection of the center line of Fifteenth Street as produced in the Hudson River, thence westerly along the center line of Fifteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Fifteenth Street and the center line of Fifth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Fifth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Fifth Avenue and the center line of Eighteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Eighteenth Street to the intersection of the Eighteenth Street and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Fourth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Fourth Avenue and the center line Nineteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Nineteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street as produced in the Hudson River and the easterly City boundary line as produced in the Hudson River, thence southerly along the easterly boundary line of the City as produced in the Hudson River to the point of beginning.
(3) 
The Third Election District of the Second Ward shall include all that part of the Second Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point in the Hudson River in the easterly boundary line of the City at the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street as produced in the Hudson River, thence westerly along the center line of Nineteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Third Avenue and the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street as produced in the Hudson River and the easterly City boundary line as produced in the Hudson River, thence southerly along the easterly City boundary line of the City as produced in the Hudson River to the point of beginning.
C. 
The Third Ward of the City shall be divided into three election districts which shall be bounded and described as follows:
(1) 
The First Election District of the Third Ward shall include all that part of the Third Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point of the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence running westerly along the center line of Nineteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Twelfth Avenue, thence running northerly along the center line of Twelfth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Twelfth Avenue and the center line of Twenty-Third Street, thence running easterly along the center line of Twenty-Third Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Third Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence running southerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the point of beginning.
(2) 
The Second Election District of the Third Ward shall include all that part of the Third Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point in the Hudson River in the easterly City boundary line at the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street as produced in said river, thence westerly along the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street and the center line of Ninth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Ninth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Ninth Avenue and the center line of Twenty-Fifth Street, thence westerly along the center line of Twenty-Fifth Street to its intersection with the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, thence northerly along the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad to its intersection with the northerly City boundary line, thence easterly along the northerly City boundary line to the point of intersection of the northerly and easterly City boundary line in the Hudson River, thence southerly along the easterly City boundary line in the Hudson River to the point of beginning.
(3) 
The Third Election District of the Third Ward shall include all that part of the Third Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at a point of intersection of the center line of Twenty-Third Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence westerly along the center line of Twenty-Third Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Third Street and the center line of Twelfth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Twelfth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Twelfth Avenue and the center line of Nineteenth Street, thence westerly along the center line of Nineteenth to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Grotto Court, thence northerly along the center line of Grotto Court to the intersection of the center line of Grotto Court and the northerly City boundary line, thence easterly along the northerly City boundary line to the intersection of the northerly City boundary line and the westerly City boundary line, thence northerly along the westerly City boundary line to the intersection of the westerly City boundary line and the northerly City boundary line, thence easterly along the northerly boundary line of the City to the intersection of the northerly boundary line of the City and the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, thence southerly along the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad to the intersection of the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad and the center line of Twenty-Fifth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Twenty-Fifth Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Fifth Street and the center line of Ninth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Ninth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Ninth Avenue and the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street to the intersection of the center line of Twenty-Fourth Street and the center line of Third Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Third Avenue to the point of beginning.
D. 
The Fourth Ward of the City shall be divided into four election districts which shall be bounded and described as follows:
(1) 
The First Election District of the Fourth Ward shall include all that part of the Fourth Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at the intersection of the center line of Fourth Avenue, produced southerly and the United States Arsenal Wall, thence southwesterly along the United States Arsenal Wall to the westerly City boundary line, thence northerly along the westerly City boundary line to the intersection of the westerly City boundary line and the center line of Thirteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Thirteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Thirteenth Street and the center line of Seventh Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Seventh Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Seventh Avenue and the center line of Fourteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Fourteenth Street to the intersection Fourteenth Street and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Fourth Avenue to the point of beginning.
(2) 
The Second Election District of the Fourth Ward shall include all that part of the Fourth Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at the point of the intersection of the center line of Fourteenth Street and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence westerly along the center line of Fourteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Fourteenth Street and the center line of Seventh Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Seventh Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Seventh Avenue and the center line of Thirteenth Street, thence westerly along the center line of Thirteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Thirteenth Street and the westerly City boundary line, thence northerly along the westerly City boundary line to the intersection of the westerly City boundary line and the southerly City boundary line, thence westerly along the southerly City boundary line to the intersection of the southerly City boundary line and the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, thence northerly along the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad to the intersection of the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad and the center line of Sixteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Sixteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Sixteenth Street and the center line of Seventh Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Seventh Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Seventh Avenue and the center line of Fifteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Fifteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Fifteenth Street and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Fourth Avenue to the point of beginning.
(3) 
The Third Election District of the Fourth Ward shall include all that part of the Fourth Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at the point of the intersection of the center line of Fifteenth Street and the center line of Fifth Avenue, thence westerly along the center line Fifteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Fifteenth Street and the center line of Seventh Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Seventh Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Seventh Avenue and the center line of Sixteenth Street, thence westerly along the center line of Sixteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Sixteenth Street and the center line of Ninth Avenue, thence northerly along the center line of Ninth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Ninth Avenue and the center line of Nineteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Nineteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Fourth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Fourth Avenue to the intersection of the center line of Fourth Avenue and the center line of Eighteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Eighteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Eighteenth Street and the center line of Fifth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Fifth Avenue to the point of beginning.
(4) 
The Fourth Election District of the Fourth Ward shall include all that part of the Fourth Ward contained within the following boundaries: beginning at the point of intersection at the center line of Ninth Avenue and the center line of Sixteenth Street, thence running westerly along the center line of Sixteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Sixteenth Street and the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, thence southerly along the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad to the intersection of the easterly right-of-way line of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad and the southerly City boundary line, thence westerly along the southerly City boundary line to the intersection of the southerly City boundary line and the westerly City boundary line, thence northerly along the westerly City boundary line to the intersection of the westerly City boundary line and the northerly City boundary line, thence easterly along the northerly City boundary line to the intersection of the northerly City boundary line and the center line of Grotto Court, thence southerly along the center line Grotto Court to the center line of Grotto Court and the center line of Nineteenth Street, thence easterly along the center line of Nineteenth Street to the intersection of the center line of Nineteenth Street and the center line of Ninth Avenue, thence southerly along the center line of Ninth Avenue to the point of beginning.
