Admissions and amusement tax — See Ch. 255, Art. II.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, without having first obtained a license as herein provided, to operate, permit to be operated or permit on the premises any pinball machine or coin-operated music box or picture machine or shooting and target machine, without first having obtained a license therefor from the Clerk to said Mayor and Town Council of Oakland as hereinafter provided.
The Town Clerk is hereby empowered and directed to issue licenses and collect the fees therefor. The amount of the annual fee is established by resolution by the Mayor and Town Council. Consult the Town Clerk's office for the current fee.

Any license issued under the aforegoing section may be revoked by the Mayor and Town Council at any time upon their own motion, or upon complaint in writing of any person or persons, after hearing has been accorded the licensee before the said Mayor and Town Council of Oakland, upon at last 10 day's written notice to the said licensee of the time and place of said hearing, notifying him to appear at such time and place and show cause, if any the said licensee may have, why said license should not be revoked.
All licenses granted under this chapter shall run from the 1st day of May and expire on the 30th day of April following; provided, however, that all licenses issued during the year shall be for the unexpired portion of the year, and the licensee shall pay proportionately therefor.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation offending against the provisions of this chapter or any of the aforegoing provisions of any section of the same shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a municipal infraction subject to the maximum fine established pursuant to Chapter 40, Municipal Infractions. Each day's operation of said machine or machines shall be considered a separate and distinct offense.
