GENERAL REFERENCES
Responsibilities of Township Manager — See Ch. 23.
This Board of Supervisors, constituting the
municipal authority of the Township of East Cocalico, hereby signifies
its intention and desire to organize an authority under the provisions
of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended.[1]

The Chairman and Secretary of this Board of
Township Supervisors are hereby directed to execute on behalf of the
Township of East Cocalico Articles of Incorporation for said Authority,
providing, among other things:
A.
That the name of the Authority shall be East Cocalico
Township Authority;
B.
That the Authority is formed under the Act of May
2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, known as the "Municipality Authorities
Act of 1945";
C.
That no other Authority has been organized under said
Act or under the Act of June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, and is in existence,
in and for the incorporating municipality, except Cocalico Union School
Authority of Lancaster County, created by the school districts of
the Townships of East Cocalico and of West Cocalico and of the Boroughs
of Denver and of Adamstown;
D.
That the name of the incorporating municipality is
the Township of East Cocalico, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; and
E.
Stating the names and addresses of members and officers
of said Township's Board of Township Supervisors and the names, addresses
and terms of office of the first members of the Board of the Authority.

of this Township) are hereby appointed by this Board of Township Supervisors
as members of the Board of said Authority for the respective terms
of office set forth opposite each person's name:

The Secretary of this Board of Township Supervisors
is hereby directed, as required by the Municipality Authorities Act
of 1945, as amended, to publish notice of this chapter and of the
day upon which said Articles of Incorporation will be filed with the
Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and the Chairman and
Secretary of said Board are hereby directed to file said Articles,
together with the resolution authorizing the incorporation of the
Authority (with necessary proofs of publication) with the Secretary
of the Commonwealth, and to do all other things necessary or appropriate
to effect the incorporation of East Cocalico Township Authority.
