Wherever a space shall be marked off on any highway for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked within the lines bounding such space.
A. 
The parking, stopping or standing of vehicles in the locations described in Subsection B of this section is hereby restricted as follows:
(1) 
In locations designated as "no parking," the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times or during the hours or time periods indicated, if any.
(2) 
In locations designated as "limited parking," the parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited for a longer period of time than that specified during the hours indicated, if any.
(3) 
In locations designated as "no standing," the standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times or during the hours indicated, if any.
(4) 
In locations designated as "no stopping," the stopping of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times or during the hours indicated, if any.
(5) 
In locations designated as "no parking during school hours," the term "school hours" shall be defined as 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays from September 1 to June 30, excluding holidays.

(6) 
In locations designated as "no blocking intersection," the parking or standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times or during the hours indicated, if any.

During a period of emergency snow conditions upon the highways of the Township of Upper Gwynedd, no person shall park a vehicle or permit it to stand unattended upon any portion of any of the highways situate within the Township of Upper Gwynedd. For purposes of this section, emergency snow conditions shall be deemed to exist during any period in which snowplow or snow removal equipment shall be operating as such within the Township; provided, however, that such period shall not extend more than 72 hours after the cessation of a snowstorm.

A. 
No person shall park any trailer, semitrailer or mobile home or a motor home, recreational trailer or truck camper having a gross weight in excess of 7,000 pounds, as such terms are defined in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code, upon any street or highway situate within the Township of Upper Gwynedd.
B. 
No person shall park any commercial motor vehicle and truck tractor, as such terms are defined in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code, which either bear or would require, if registered in Pennsylvania, license registration plates with a Class 3 or heavier classification, upon any street or highway situate within the Township of Upper Gwynedd between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., except for local delivery. (Class 3 vehicles have a gross weight of 7,001 to 9,000 pounds.)
A. 
Fire zones shall be established in areas designated by the Board of Commissioners, and no vehicles shall park, stand or stop in such areas at any time.
B. 
Any person that shall violate the provisions of this section shall be issued a parking ticket in the amount set forth in § 185-27B, payable to Upper Gwynedd Township within 48 hours of its issuance. In the event that any ticket issued is not paid within 48 hours, then a citation shall be issued, and the violation shall be thereafter prosecuted in accordance with the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.[1]
