[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of North Syracuse 1-28-1999 by L.L. No. 1-1999 as Ch. 136 of the 1999 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
It is hereby declared to be the intent of the Village of North Syracuse to limit the hours of use and conduct of persons within the public parks of the Village of North Syracuse and to exclude improper persons from said public parks in order that the public health, safety and welfare may be best served.

All public parks within the Village of North Syracuse shall remain open each day until 9:00 p.m. during the months of May, June, July and August. For the months of September through April, all public parks will close at 6:00 p.m. Park hours shall be posted at all park entrances. Any vehicles left in parking lots after hours are subject to a parking ticket and/or to be towed from the properties at the owner's expense.
The conduct of persons using the public parks shall not interfere with any other individual's quiet enjoyment of said public parks.
The Village Board may from time to time allow the use of said public parks by bona fide groups and organized uses at times other than those specified in § 165-2, upon application to the Board, by resolution and written permit and upon such conditions as may be reasonable and necessary in the determination of the Board of Trustees.
Parking of motor vehicles is prohibited on all unpaved areas or green areas of all public parks.
Any violation of any provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $250 or a term of imprisonment not to exceed 15 days, or both.
