The Village of Massapequa Park is authorized to accept credit cards
for the payment of village taxes on real property within the Village of Massapequa
Park and which credit card companies are to be approved by the Village Tax
Department. The payment of village taxes by credit card for the
payment of village taxes is to take effect on June 1, 2001.
The payment of village fees, including permits, variances and other
charges by the village, can be paid by credit cards, which credit card companies
are to be approved by the Village Tax Department. This section shall be effective
immediately upon the enactment of this chapter.
Credit cards cannot and shall not be used to pay any village court fines
or penalties and shall be inapplicable to this chapter.
