[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Malvern as indicated in section histories (App. VI of the 1975 Code of Ordinances).]

An ordinance providing for the annexation of certain real estate owned by the Borough, being 42.507 acres more or less, being described as follows:
Beginning at a point set in the southerly side of Second Avenue at its intersection with the Borough line, said point also being a corner of land belonging to the Laymens Weekend Retreat League: thence extending from said first mentioned point and place of beginning extending along land of the Borough of Malvern North 18 degrees 46 minutes 45 seconds West 967.67 feet to a point set in line of land belonging to William E. Downing; thence extending along land of William E. Downing North 69 degrees 57 minutes 10 seconds East 171.51 feet to a point; thence extending along land of M. Marguerite Shank the three following courses and distances: (1) South 68 degrees 28 minutes 50 seconds East 278.30 feet to a point; (2) South 38 degrees 44 minutes 50 seconds East 130.75 feet to a point; (3) North 83 degrees 49 minutes 10 seconds East 139.52 feet to a stone monument; thence extending partly along land of M. Marguerite Shank, Clarence F. Slaymaker and Harvey F. Bond, Jr. South 68 degrees 28 minutes 50 seconds East 773.55 feet to an iron pin set in a line of land belonging to Catherine H. Dougherty; thence extending partly along land of Catherine H. Dougherty and lands of Grove P. Mitchell, Berdie M. Byrd, Joseph E. Creveling, Henry K. Killard, Phillip D. Gedney, Jane C. Tiffany, Joseph D'Ascenzon, Irma M. Christman, Theodore H. Freas and Francis E. Folk, Sr. South 24 degrees 29 minutes 40 seconds East 1128.64 feet to an iron pin; thence extending along land of the Laymens Weekend Retreat League the four following courses and distances: (1) South 65 degrees 45 minutes West 609.81 feet to a stone monument; (2) North 46 degrees 08 minutes 30 seconds West 135.68 feet to an iron pin; (3) South 65 degrees 23 minutes West 495.45 feet to a stone monument set in a line dividing the Borough of Malvern and Willistown Township; (4) North 24 degrees 54 minutes 56 seconds West 979.10 feet to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
