§ 30-1 Committee established.

A Fire and Police Alarm Evaluation Committee is established in the Township, which Committee is to maintain operational control of commercial and industrial tie-ins to the police and fire alarm system.

§ 30-2 Membership.

To control said tie-ins, the following provisions shall apply:

A. 

The Township Committee shall appoint the following to the Fire and Police Alarm Evaluation Committee, the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal and First Assistant Fire Chief whose terms shall be for the duration of their terms of office as Fire Chief, Fire Marshal and First Assistant Fire Chief.

B. 

The Township Committee shall appoint two of its members for one-year terms to serve on the Fire and Police Alarm Evaluation Committee.

C. 

The Township Committee shall appoint two qualified citizens who shall serve for one-year terms on the Fire and Police Alarm Evaluation Committee.

§ 30-3 Applications and approval.

Before any commercial or industrial tie-in is granted into the fire and police alarm system, an application must be submitted to the Township Clerk who must immediately forward this application to the Fire and Police Alarm Evaluation Committee for its approval. If said Committee approves the application, the applicant shall be allowed to tie-in to the fire and police alarm system.
