It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, club, association, partnership, corporation or other organization to hold, conduct, operate or maintain a public skating rink, public swimming pool, public exhibition grounds and public amusement parks and grounds to which the public is generally invited, whether or not an admission fee is charged, at any place within the Township of Riverside, in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, without having first obtained a license from the Township Committee as hereinafter provided.
The Township Committee of the Township of Riverside, in the County of Burlington, is hereby authorized to issue a license for the holding, conducting, operating or maintaining of any public skating rink, public swimming pool, public exhibition ground or public amusement park or grounds upon written application by the person, persons, club, partnership, association, corporation or organization desiring the same and the payment to said Township of Riverside of a license fee of $100, which said fee is imposed for costs of administration.
The Township Committee may, by resolution, adopt terms, conditions, restrictions, limitations, rules and regulations governing the premises for which any such license may be issued and may refuse to issue such license if said Township Committee, upon investigation, shall be satisfied that the granting of any such license will not be conducive to the good government, order, health and morals of said Township and its inhabitants. In conducting any such investigation as herein provided for, the Township Committee shall afford all parties in interest a reasonable opportunity to be heard in connection with the application for the issuance of any license as herein provided.[1]

Every such license shall remain in force and be valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance and shall apply only to the place and person or persons to whom granted and shall not be transferable.
Any person or persons to whom such license is granted is hereby required to exhibit such license whenever called upon so to do.
The Township Committee may, in its discretion, revoke any and all licenses issued by virtue of the provisions of this chapter for violation of any of the rules, regulations, conditions, restrictions and limitations placed upon the person or persons to whom such license shall be granted or the place for which said license is granted.
