The Moosic Borough Council is hereby authorized to create a Recreation
Board pursuant to Section 2708 of the Borough Code.[1]

The Borough of Moosic is creating the Recreation Board for the purpose
of promoting and enhancing recreation in the Borough.
The Recreation Board will consist of a minimum of five and a maximum
of nine persons.
The duties and responsibilities of the Recreation Board will be defined
by the Borough Council and in accordance with the Borough Code.
The Recreation Board will meet on an as-needed basis and elect both
a Chairman and Secretary.
The Recreation Board will report directly to the Borough Council.
