It is the desire and intention of the Borough of Tullytown, Bucks County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to organize an authority under the Municipality Authorities Act of 2001, 53 Pa.C.S.A. § 5601 et seq., jointly with the Township of Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The name of the authority shall be "Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority."

The proposed Articles of Incorporation for the proposed authority shall be substantially as follows.[1]

The members of the Board of Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority named in the proposed Articles of Incorporation as representing the Borough of Tullytown are hereby specifically appointed as members of said Board for the terms of office set after their respective names, which terms shall commence on the date of approval hereof and be computed from January 1, 1953.

The proper officers of the Borough of Tullytown are hereby authorized and directed to join with the proper officers of the Township of Bristol and together execute the proposed Articles of Incorporation of an Authority and give notice of this article and to file said Articles and a certified copy of this article with the Secretary of the Commonwealth and to do all other acts and things necessary or proper to effect the incorporation of the said Authority as provided in the said Municipality Authorities Act of 2001.[1]

The first projects to be undertaken by the Authority shall be the acquiring, holding, constructing, improving, maintaining and operating, owning, leasing, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, of sewers, sewer systems or parts thereof, sewage treatment works, including works for treatment and disposal of industrial waste, waterworks, water supply works and water distribution systems in the Township of Bristol and the Borough of Tullytown or parts thereof and for such other territory as it may be authorized to serve.
