The Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract with one or
more third-party companies to facilitate credit card payments from
the public for payments made to the office of the City Clerk and/or
Finance Department.
For any and all transactions where the payment made is less
than $80 the service fee charged by the third-party company to the
party making the credit card payment shall be $1.95. For any and all
transactions where the payment made is $80 or more, the service fee
charged by the third-party company to the party making the credit
card payment shall be 2.45% of the amount of the payment.
