No person shall conduct a trade show within the Municipality of Monroeville without first obtaining a license from the License Officer designated by the Monroeville Municipal Manager.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TRADE SHOW
Any exhibition, sale or display where goods, merchandise or services are sold and having at least 10 persons participate who deal in the type of goods, merchandise or service exhibited, sold or traded.
The applicant shall be either the owner or lessee of the premises upon which the trade show is being held.
An application shall be filed prior to the opening of the trade show. The application shall state the names, addresses and businesses of all persons who are to participate in the trade show, the site and any other pertinent information requested by the License Officer.

Effective January 1, 2011, the license fee shall be $3 per booth, exhibit, or display or $3 per 100 square feet of booth, exhibit or display space, whichever is greater. Payment shall be made at the time of the license application or may be made on a monthly basis by the owner or lessee of the premises upon which the trade show is being conducted.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon summary conviction thereof before any Magistrate having jurisdiction, pay a fine in an amount not exceeding the sum of $600 together with costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, be imprisoned for a period not exceeding 30 days.
