The unnecessary or continuous sounding of automobile horns, Klaxons, sirens, bells, whistles or other sounding devices on automobiles, trucks, buses, trains or other vehicles within the Township of Nether Providence.
B.
The operation of radios, compact discs or other mechanical instruments or singing, shouting or playing of musical instruments in a manner and at a time which is generally considered to be inappropriate and which unnecessarily disturbs the peace and quiet of the immediate neighborhood.
C.
For any person, firm or corporation to play, use or operate for any purpose whatsoever on or upon a public street or thoroughfare in the Township any device known as a "sound truck," loudspeaker or sound amplifier, or radio or phonograph with a loudspeaker or sound amplifier, or any other instrument known as a "calliope" or any instrument of any kind or character which emits therefrom loud and raucous noises and is attached to any vehicle operated or standing upon the streets or public places aforementioned without first obtaining a permit from the Township Manager. There will be no charge for this permit.
D.
For any person to possess, consume or transport any open container containing any alcoholic beverages on or adjacent to any highway, road, lane, avenue or other public thoroughfare or upon any parking lot or outside area of any commercial establishment, store, school, shop, tavern, club or in any public park or playground or other public place.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Art.
