It shall be lawful and the Police Department
of the Township of Nether Providence is hereby authorized to use in
the Township of Nether Providence any and all electrical, electronic
and/or mechanical (except radar) speed-timing devices which are now
or shall hereafter be approved by the Department of Transportation
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Signs, either temporary or permanent, shall
be posted in the Township of Nether Providence warning that such electrical,
electronic and/or mechanical (except radar) speed-timing device is
being used. Such signs shall give notice of the enforcement of speed
restrictions by the use of such devices and shall refer to this chapter
as authorizing such devices. Said signs shall be of the type and placed
at locations as specified by the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania.
