A. 
Every improved property required by Chapter 322, Water, of the Code of Ordinances to be connected to the water system and all other properties connecting to the water system shall have a connection to said water system in the manner provided herein.
B. 
All connections to the water system and all building water work shall be subject to inspection and approval by representatives of the Authority and the Administrator.
C. 
The water line is to be inspected with the water turned on and under pressure. The fitting at the curb stop must be checked for any leakage.
A. 
Water line from curb stop to structure material requirement: Type K copper or 200 psi CTS Tubing. There shall be one continuous line with no joints from the curb stop to the structure. The water line may be in the same trench with the sewer line as an 18 inch separation between the two lines is maintained.
B. 
When plastic pipe is used, stainless stiffeners are required. When length of run is over 100 feet, plastic pipe must be used.
Building mains shall be installed using the methods set forth in § 227-24, above.
All connections to the water system of the Authority shall protect the public water supply and shall comply with all of the requirements of § 610 of the International Plumbing Code (1997 edition) and § 2905.0 of the BOCA National Building Code/1996.
