Editor's Note: This ordinance specifically
repealed Ord. No. 598, adopted 5-12-1986 by Ord. No. 596, approved
5-13-1986.
The salary of the Mayor of the Borough of Wilson
is hereby fixed at the sum of $3,500 per annum, payable from the Borough
treasury in biweekly installments on warrants authorized by Council.
The compensation for the President of Council
is hereby fixed at the sum of $2,700 per annum, payable in biweekly
installments during the term of office as President in the same manner
as the compensation is paid to other members of Council as hereinafter
provided.
Each member of Borough Council of the Borough
of Wilson shall receive as compensation the sum of $2,500 per annum
payable in biweekly installments during the term of his respective
office.
The compensation hereinabove provided for shall
be paid to each Councilperson during the month succeeding the month
for which the compensation is provided, and shall be payable from
the Borough Treasury on warrants authorized by Council.
The aforesaid salary of the Mayor and the compensation
of the President and each member of Borough Council shall be effective
as of the first day of January 2004.
