[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mill Neck 8-6-1954 as Ord. No. 21. Section 47-3 amended at time of adoption of Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I. Other amendments noted where applicable.]
No person or organization shall give any exhibition, operate a fair or bazaar for charity or hold any meetings for historical, horticultural or any other societies for which an admission fee is charged without first obtaining a permit for the same from the Village Clerk.
The Village Clerk will issue a permit for such exhibition, fair or meeting if he finds that the same will not be detrimental to the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community.
Any person or organization committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this chapter shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
