The statutory authority for this chapter is contained in § 381, Subdivision 2 of Article 18 of the Executive Law of New York State, titled "Administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code" as added by the Laws of 1981, Chapter 707, effective July 21, 1981.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Cooperstown hereby determines that, effective January 1, 1992, it shall not assume responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code of the State of New York.
The Village Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this chapter in the principal office of the State Building Code Council, Division of Housing and Community Renewal, New York, NY.
