For the safety and well-being of the inhabitants of the Borough of Mars, it shall be unlawful for any person to ride a skateboard, roller skates, scooter or bicycle on the sidewalks of any business district within the Borough.
A violation of this chapter shall constitute a summary offense. Any person who fails to comply with any of its requirements shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a maximum fine of $300 for each offense. In default of payment of the fine, such person shall be liable to imprisonment for not more than 90 days. All fines collected for the violation of this chapter shall be paid over to the Borough.
