§ 11-1 Establishment as public utility.

The Township Council of the Township of Evesham does hereby declare and establish that the Municipal Golf Course of the Township of Evesham, commonly known as "Indian Spring," shall hereafter be operated and maintained as a self-liquidating public utility for all purposes of the Local Bond Law and Local Budget Law of the State of New Jersey.[1] Said golf course enterprise, together with all inventory, accounts receivable, contracts or other personalty, shall hereafter be the property of said utility.

§ 11-2 Fees and charges; membership rates.

The golf course utility is hereby authorized to receive such fees, rents, rates or other charges for or in connection with the use or services of such municipal public utility, which sums shall be held, used and applied in accordance with the Local Bond Law and the Local Budget Law of the State of New Jersey as well as other applicable statutes.[1] Said fees, rents, rates or other charges shall be kept on file with the Golf Course Business Manager, subject to review and approval by the Township Council.

Municipal Partners Program.

There is established a Municipal Partners Program to provide residents of other Burlington County municipalities the opportunity to play reduced-rate golf at Indian Spring Golf Course in exchange for the partner municipality advertising the golf course and the partnership through website, social media and live community events according to the terms of a partnership agreement between the municipalities. Residents of partner communities shall receive a reduction of $5 in green fees from the posted nonresident rate from opening until 5:00 p.m., excluding senior rates, nine-hole rates and league rates as these rates are already equal to resident rates.

§ 11-3 Management.

A. 
Management of the utility hereinabove established shall be vested in the Township Manager of the Township of Evesham. There is hereby delegated to the Township Manager the power to establish reasonable rules and regulations governing the utility and its operations.
B. 
The Township Manager is authorized to discount golf course fees up to 20% to attract golf outings and for the promotion of food and beverage specials with the contracted caterer.[1]
