[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Kenilworth 4-27-1976 by Ord. No. 76-8. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No person shall detain or fail to return any book or article borrowed from the Kenilworth Free Public Library contrary to the rules and regulations of said Free Public Library after 30 days have elapsed from the date of posting by certified mail, return receipt requested, of a notice demanding return thereof, addressed to said person at the last address furnished to the library.
No person shall willfully or maliciously cut, tear, deface, disfigure, damage or destroy any book or article or any part thereof which is owned by or in the custody of the Kenilworth Free Public Library.
No person with intent to defraud shall register or furnish a false name or address or use any card other than the one issued to said person for the purpose of borrowing any book or article from the Kenilworth Free Public Library.

Every person convicted of a violation of this chapter or any supplement or amendment thereto shall, upon conviction, be subject to the general penalty set forth in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty, of the Borough of Kenilworth Code, for each and every offense.
