As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
ABANDONED CAR
Any car parked on the street for 30 days or longer as determined by the Lincoln Police Department. A current car registration shall have no bearing on this definition.
Any car parked on a street within the Town of Lincoln for longer than 30 days as determined by the Lincoln Police Department shall be declared abandoned.
The Lincoln Police Department shall cause the abandoned car to be towed, at the owner's expense, and the owner of the vehicle notified by regular mail and by registered letter, return receipt requested.
