§ 149-1 Permit required; fee; renewal; responsibilities of applicant.
A. No person shall park or leave unattended any waste or refuse container, commonly known as a "roll-off dumpster" or "roll-off container," on or along any highway, traveled roadway or dedicated roadway without a permit. The permit shall be issued by the Traffic Safety Officer. The fee for the permit is set forth in Chapter 169, Fee Schedule. The permit shall be valid and remain in effect for a period of seven days and renewed for like periods not to exceed a total of 28 days. Editor's Note: Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I).
B. The applicant assumes full responsibility for the integrity of the roadway upon which the dumpster or container is placed and agrees to repair and/or restore the roadway and the public right-of-way to its original condition should the dumpster or container cause any damage.

A. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to such penalties as are provided for in Chapter 1, Article III, General Penalty.

B. The fine shall be paid over to the board or body charged with the maintenance of the road or highway upon which the violation occurs.
