Lights on motor vehicles shall conform to the provisions of Section 386 of the Highway Laws.[1]

A motorcycle, during the period of 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, must display a white light visible within a reasonable distance in front thereof and a red light carried on the rear of the vehicle.
Bicycles must exhibit, during the period from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, a white light visible within a reasonable distance in front thereof.

No vehicles, unless parked as provided by Section 56 of Article III of this part,[1] shall, at any time from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, be parked in or upon the streets or alleys without having exhibited thereon a light or lights which shall be clearly visible from in front and from the rear, so as to warn those meeting such vehicle of its presence.
