GENERAL REFERENCES
Village Board Trustees — See Ch. 108, Art. I.
Pursuant to § 61.32, Wis. Stats., the president and board of trustees of any village, whether operating under general or special law, may by a three-fourths vote of all the members of the village board determine that an annual salary be paid the president and trustees. Salaries heretofore established shall so remain until changed by ordinance and shall not be increased or diminished during their terms of office.
A. 
The Village President shall be paid an annual salary of $4,200, to be paid in monthly installments through April 2009. As of May 1, 2009, the salary for the President shall increase to an annual salary of $5,400 paid in monthly installments;
B. 
A Village Trustee shall be paid an annual salary of $3,000, paid in monthly installments through April 2008 and 2009, term dependent. As of May 1, 2008 and 2009, term dependent, the Trustee salary shall increase to an annual salary of $4,200, paid in monthly installments;
C. 
Each member of the Board of Review shall receive a special compensation of $40 through 2007, increased to $50 starting in 2008; and
D. 
Each member of the Board shall receive mileage reimbursement for any meetings or education outside of Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin. The mileage reimbursement shall be at the current IRS rate.
This chapter shall take effect according to § 61.32, Wis. Stats., and upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
