A.
Pursuant to the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act, 53 Pa. C.S.A.
§ 2301 et seq., the terms and conditions of the Fire Protection
Agreement by and between the Borough of Edgeworth and the Borough
of Sewickley, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,[1] are hereby approved and adopted.

B.
The appropriate authorized officers of the Borough of Edgeworth are
hereby authorized to execute and enter into said Fire Protection Agreement
on behalf of the Borough of Edgeworth.
The Fire Protection Agreement serves to replace the Borough's
existing fire coverage arrangement with the Edgeworth Volunteer Fire
Company; all ordinances and resolutions concerning said Fire Company
are hereby repealed.
