A. 
No person shall discharge any firearm, including a shotgun, pistol, revolver, rifle or muzzle-loading firearm, within the limits of the Village of Phoenix, except a police officer in the lawful performance of his or her duties.
B. 
No person shall discharge any air gun, pellet gun, BB gun or other weapon which discharges a projectile with a propellant or air, compressed air or compressed gas.
Offenses involving the provisions of this chapter are violations and are punishable by a fine of up to $250, a sentence of imprisonment fixed by the court which shall not exceed 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
