The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Lawrence being the municipal
authorities of said Board do hereby express their intention and desire to
become a member and to join the Authority.
The proper officers of this Township are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and to file with the Secretary of the commonwealth an application
substantially in the form of Exhibit A[1] attached hereto and made a part hereof. The individuals specified
in such application as being appointed as members of the Authority appointed
by this Township are hereby so appointed for the terms indicated.

The Township Solicitor is directed to cause to be published, as required
by the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945,[1] a notice containing a brief statement of the substance of this
article and of the application, which notice shall state that on a day certain,
not less than three days after the complete publication of said notice, the
application will be filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

On or before the day specified in said notice the proper officers of
the Township shall file with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
the application and articles together with proofs of publication of said notice.
