A. 
Each full-time Borough employee shall be entitled to observe the following paid holidays on an eight-hour basis:
(1) 
New Year's Day.
(2) 
Easter Monday or Good Friday.
(3) 
Independence Day.
(4) 
Labor Day.
(5) 
Thanksgiving Day.
(6) 
Christmas Day.
(7) 
Personal birthday or Memorial Day.
(8) 
Primary Election Day.

B. 
Subsection A(2) may be replaced by Jewish holidays.
A. 
Each full-time Borough employee shall be entitled to a paid vacation in accordance with the following table. Years of service is to be interpreted as calendar years of continuous service from date of employment.

Vacation days may not be accumulated but must be taken in the year earned.
C. 
Vacation pay shall consist of basic weekly wage based on 40 hours.
Notwithstanding the provisions of § 14-2 of this article, the following limitations shall apply:
A. 
When qualified for two or more weeks of paid vacation, at least one week, 40 hours, must be taken consecutively.
B. 
Each supervisor of the particular department must be notified at least 72 hours in advance. Vacation time will be granted upon request whenever possible.
C. 
Vacation pay will be prorated upon termination.
Each full-time Borough employee may receive six days of sick leave annually, and said sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 12 days. A doctor's note will be required after a sick leave of three consecutive days.

The Borough Council authorizes the Lake Lehman School Board to assume the hiring and oversight of school crossing guards for the Lake Lehman School District.
The Borough Council authorizes the Harveys Lake Police Department to provide any necessary training and assistance of the school crossing guards while said guards are on duty.
The aforesaid school crossing guards are specifically restricted in their duties to management of traffic and pedestrians in and around areas designated by the Harveys Lake Police Department and the Lake Lehman School District Superintendent or their designees.
A. 
The aforesaid school crossing guards, as retained by the Lake Lehman School District, shall not fall within the purview or provisions of the Civil Service provisions of the Borough Code.
B. 
The aforesaid school crossing guards, as retained by the Lake Lehman School District, shall not fall within the purview or provisions of the bargaining unit of the Lake Lehman School District, nor shall they be considered a school employee as defined under Section 1101-A of the Act of March 10, 1945 (P.L. 30, No. 14), known as the "Public School Code of 1945," or under 24 Pa.C.S.A. § 8102, or under any other plans hereafter effective.
