All applications for licenses or permits shall be made in writing at the office of the Secretary of the Board during the regular office hours, and all fees for such licenses or permits shall be paid in advance at the time of making application therefor. All licenses shall terminate on December 31 of the current year.
Approval of applications and the granting of licenses or permits may be withheld pending examination, investigation or inspection at the discretion of the Board.
Any license or permit issued under the provisions of this chapter may be revoked at the discretion of the Board in the event that the licensee or any of his employees, agents or servants shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, any amendments thereof or supplements thereto, or any of the rules or regulations that may be adopted by the Board or by the Department of Health of the State of New Jersey.
Food or fruit peddlers' vehicles or conveyances for sale and distribution from house to house within the limits of the Borough of Northvale shall be licensed by this Board. The fee shall be $2 per annum. All food, fruit or food products shall be kept in sanitary condition.
