§ 5-1 Adoption of schedules.

Editor's Note: The schedules referred to are on file in the office of the Borough Clerk.

The following schedules found in the Report of Reclassification Survey, prepared by the State of New Jersey Department of Civil Service, dated 1983, and more generally described below, are hereby adopted by the Borough of Washington:

A. 

Schedule 1, containing:

(1) 

A list of employees and their status, title and divisional classification as of August 1, 1983.

(2) 

Their proposed titles and divisional classifications.

B. 

Schedule 2, containing class specifications in alphabetical order, including definitions, examples of work, educational and experience requirements and knowledge and abilities.

C. 

Schedule 3, containing:

(1) 

An alphabetical list of full-time positions in the classified service, with divisional classifications.

(2) 

An alphabetical list of part-time positions in the classified service, with divisional classifications.

(3) 

An alphabetical list of unclassified positions with statutory provisions.

§ 5-2 Exceptions.

The Borough does not accept the proposed title of "Principal Clerk Stenographer" as proposed in Schedule 1 and elects to retain the present classification title of "Administrative Secretary, Manager's Office."

§ 5-3 Repealer.

Chapter 5, § 5-1, of the Code of the Borough of Washington, entitled "Civil Service," B Schedule 2, and C Schedule 1, are hereby specifically repealed.
