Zoning Board of Appeals rules of procedure — See Ch. A107.
[Adopted 12-10-2008 by L.L. No. 5-2008]
Pursuant to Town Law § 267, Subdivision 2, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Lloyd, which presently consists of seven members, as set forth in prior resolutions of this Town Board, instead of the three or five members as recommended in the Town Law of the State of New York, shall consist of five members instead of the current seven members.
A.
The Zoning Board of Appeals members shall consist of persons appointed by the Town Board on an annual basis for individual members, as the membership of each member expires per year.
B.
The appointment of members, the terms of the members now in office and other powers and duties of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall be as set forth in Town Law § 267. Each member's position on the Board shall terminate upon the expiration of his or her term, on December 31 of each year, until five members remain. All other administration of the Zoning Board of Appeals shall be as set forth in Town Law § 267, the Board's regulations and Chapter 100, Zoning, of the Town Code, and this article specifies only a decrease in the number of members holding office on the Zoning Board of Appeals. This article does not change any of the other terms of § 267 of the Town Law, the Zoning Board's regulations or Chapter 100, Zoning, of the Town Code.
