The parking of a motor vehicle on the front lawn or yard of real property within the geographic and territorial limits of the Village of Brewster between the curblines of a residential dwelling building is detrimental to the aesthetic value and to the health, welfare and safety of our community.
No person shall cause a motor vehicle, as that is defined by the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL), to stop, stand or park on other than a driveway between the curblines or the lateral lines of a street or highway on property of a single- or multiple-family dwelling within the Village of Brewster, New York.
The Code Enforcement Officer, the Parking Enforcement Officer and the police officers of the Village of Brewster are authorized to issue municipal violation tickets to any person(s) found to be in violation of this chapter.

A. 
Any person(s) who shall violate this chapter shall be fined a sum as set from time to time by resolution of the Village of Brewster Board of Trustees after a public hearing.
B. 
In addition, any person(s) who shall violate this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a penalty of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
