It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor
vehicle to park said vehicle on any street in the Village of LeRoy
from November 1 to April 1 between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00
a.m. of any day.
A.
It shall be unlawful for an operator to park a motor
vehicle in an alley or on any bridge in the Village of LeRoy.
B.
Parking prohibited adjacent to driveways. It shall
be unlawful for an operator to park a vehicle within five feet of
a driveway on any street with curbs, or if there is no curb, within
10 feet along the street from the point where the sidewalk and driveway
meet. The Village Police Department shall, investigate all complaints
received. Further, for the first 30 days this article is in effect,
only warning tickets shall be issued for violation of this section.
It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor
vehicle to park the same within the limits of any parkway or within
the boundaries of lands lying between the street curb and the outer
limits of the sidewalk running parallel with said street curb, such
outer sidewalk line to be construed as being a direct continuation
of the general sidewalk line on the outer or street side along the
entire length of said street.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park
a motor vehicle upon a street for the purpose of displaying the same
for sale.
The Chief of Police shall have the authority,
with full power of revocation at any time, to determine the location
of loading zones and shall erect or maintain or cause to be erected
or maintained appropriate signs indicating the same. It shall be unlawful
for the operator of a vehicle to stop, stand or park said vehicle
for a period of time longer than necessary for the unloading and delivery
or pickup of materials in any place marked as a loading zone.
The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and
required to establish bus stops on such public streets in such places
and in such manner and number as he shall determine to be of the greatest
benefit and convenience to the public, and every bus stop shall be
designated by appropriate signs.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park
or leave standing any disabled vehicle or trailer on any public street
for a period in excess of 24 hours.
A.
Parking prohibited in designated locations. When signs are erected in each block giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle at such places and during the times designated in Schedule A, attached to and made a part hereof as § 201-67.
B.
Standing prohibited in designated locations. When signs are erected in each block giving notice thereof, no person shall allow a vehicle to stand in such places and during the times designated in Schedule B, attached to and made a part hereof as § 201-68.
C.
Parking and standing prohibited in designated locations,
unless a vehicle has a valid license plate or a temporary parking
permit for people with disabilities. When signs are erected in each
space giving notice thereof, no person shall allow a vehicle to park
to stand in such space designated Schedule E,[1] unless said vehicle has a valid license plate or a temporary
parking permit for people with disabilities, unless the vehicle bears
a permit issued under § 1203-a of the Vehicle and Traffic
Law or registration issued under § 404-a of said law on
such vehicle is being used at that time for the transportation of
a severely disabled or handicapped person.
